A little bit about me..In February 2002 I completed a Practitioners Course in Reflexology, accredited by The Association of Reflexologists at The Central London School of Reflexology.I thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it extremely fascinating so in July 2002 I undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Head Massage and Spinal Reflexology to further my knowledge and compliment my treatments. In November 2003 I received a Reflexology Dipolma in Preconception, Pregnancy and Post Natal Care. This is an area which interests me greatly and I have treated many women at the different stages from Preconception through to after the birth of their child. In September 2004 Suzanne Enzer, who is a very well known, respected Reflexologist and midwife, held a 2 day seminar on getting pregnant, Pregnancy and Post Natal Care. I was very fortunate to attend as the spaces are limited and found it extremely useful and use many of her techniques in my treatments. In October 2008 I listened to a talk from Dr Marilyn Glenville PhD, who has written books, including 'Getting Pregnant Quicker'. She is recognised as the UK's leading nutritionist specialising in women's health. She was a great source of information and brilliant and inspiring lady and I'm really grateful for meeting her. I have found that one of the most frequent conditions clients come to me with (apart from wanting to get pregnant) is IBS or digestive complaints. I used to have a particularly unpredictable digestive system myself and because of this I have researched this topic in depth! I am planning to attend an Abdominal Massage Workshop with Helen Rohlicek which aims to help a range of conditions from Digestive disorders, constipation to fertility problems and period pains. I love having Reflexology and getting the benefits of the treatment and regularly do treatment swaps with a reflexologist friend and would whole heartedly encourage anyone to try it, even if is only a half hour session! |
